HIKE

1. Prospect Hill – Waltham, MA
Thursday, April 17, 2025

Please join us for a 2 hour, 2 mile hike at Prospect Hill, a 273 acre Waltham city park.  It is an elevation gain of 340 feet to the top of Prospect Hill if we decide to do that.

2. Tophet Chasm to Lookout Rock, Littleton, MA

April 22, 2025 (rain date April 23)
Start Time: 10:00am, Lunch to follow
Host: Joe Comperchio, cell 781-249-6249
Parking: parking is limited and carpooling is suggested. The parking area is located on Oak Hill Road (Oak Hill Reservation, Lookout Rock Trailhead).
Comments:
Bill Vale will once again lead us on a hike along the rim of Tophet Chasm then up to Lookout Rock in Littleton. Along the way, Bill will share insights into geology and topography. The hike is described as easy/moderate and should take about 2 hours. Good footwear is needed.

Purgatory Chasm – Sutton, MA

Thursday, May 15, 2025

Please join us for a 2 hour, 2 mile hike at Purgatory Chasm, a 239 acre DCR state reservation, south of Worcester, about 45 minutes from the Baptist church we meet in.  If you would like to carpool, please let me know.

Cadet conducted campus tour and USCGA museum.

A living museum dedicated to creating experiences with plants.
