TOPIC:
My Uncle’s Boot
It is the story of solving a family tragedy 66 years in the making. My uncle and namesake – a U.S. Army soldier in World War II – was missing in action in 1944 in Europe. I share the story of his recovery and how I found him and brought him home (and another soldier) after they were missing for 66 years
My talk will explain how this happened and what has been learned about the U.S. military’s search process for our still missing soldiers.
BIOGRAPHY PROVIDED:
I am a product of mainly parochial schools and a graduate of Boston College (BS degree) and an MBA from Boston University.
I have worked for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn MI in Product Planning; have worked for Bose Corporation in Framingham, MA in the OEM Division in global automotive audio systems: and with Royal Philips Electronics in Europe and the U.S. in product and business development of electronic products.
